Successful opening weekend of the HolzBauWerk Schwarzwald

On Friday, May 12, 2023, around 300 invited guests from politics, business, science, as well as quite a few customers and employees of the factory were guests to celebrate the official opening of the HolzBauWerk Schwarzwald. In addition to a guided tour of the factory during ongoing production, the program also included expert presentations, including one by Mr. Hans Joachim Schellnhuber (founding director of the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research), as well as a panel discussion with renowned delegates.

The following day, the gates of the new CLT factory were opened to the public. About 2500 interested guests flocked to the 13,000m² hall to view the high-tech production while production was running. After the factory tour, visitors were able to enjoy refreshments in an area of the production hall that had been converted into a festival hall. The fire departments from Besenfeld and Erzgrube took care of the smooth catering.

The three shareholders of HolzBauWerk Schwarzwald (Manuel Echtle, Jörg Kübler, Klaus Henne) were enthusiastic and overwhelmed by such a successful opening weekend.
